Hike two splendid islands Brac and Hvar and climb their peaks, visit old villages and explore famous golden horn beach and town of Hvar. Not to mention, Krka National park is on our list too. This spectacular gem of nature is full of beauty and surprises. However, we can not forget the calm beauty of Cetina river, rugged Mosor mountain and town of Split. The below itinerary generally represents our full 5-day program. However, our customers can also book only part of the trip having 2-5 days long options.

TOUR STYLE

Generally, accommodation during the tour is in Standard level guesthouses. However, any private group can arrange Superior or Deluxe accommodation.

Activities are done with a daily backpack while main luggage is left in the accommodation. Meals are mostly covered by Red Adventures except for few dinners where we will leave you to try out restaurants per your wish, of course with our recommendation if needed. Day 1(Mosor Mountain)
The first day we will spend on Mosor, a favourite mountain of outdoorsy Split citizens. Surly a special place to start this adventure and a perfect warm-up for the following days.  Newer the less, it still provides good exercise and a nice sweat. Starting the from the villages of Sitno Gornje which puts us already on a nice elevation. We will climb the peak of Vicko and have a ridge walk. Great views will follow us all along the way if the weather permits. Descending will be through the pine forest and bushes.

Day 2(Cetina river)

We will spend a day exploring Cetina river and canyon. Beautiful hikes along the river and in the shade of a forest. Having a swim in cool water will refresh us prepare to continue the walk. After climbing the hill, we will find ourselves in the hills villages that carries a significant story from middle ages when this place was called the Republic of Poljica. A most amazing view of the spot where Cetina river, Perun mountain and the Adriatic Sea melt into one, will show itself from the edge of the mountain. The day will finish in Omis, the pirate town placed in the mouth of the river. A day full of beautiful scenery, history and charming middle age towns and villages.

Day 3(Krka National park)

After breakfast in the hotel, we will have an hour and a half long drive to Krka National Park and its 17 stunning waterfalls. We will start our tour with Skradinski Buk waterfall, which is the longest, best known and most visited waterfall on the Krka River. It is formed by travertine barriers, islands and lakes. The waterfall can be explored thanks to an extensive network of trails and bridges. The old watermills here hide an ethnographical collection that tells the tale of the economic history of Sibenik and the region. Most of the watermills have been restored and today serve to demonstrate the old crafts, and as hospitality establishments. We will continue our exploration by visiting the 23-meter high Roski waterfall to enjoy a very relaxed and still undiscovered part of the Krka National Park.

Our next stop is Duvancic family farm which is spread on 13 hectares of Promina vineyards in the heart of Dalmatia. The family produces wine from indigenous varieties of Debit, black Lasina, Plavina and Marastina and famous varieties of Merlot, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon. Except for red and white wines, they produce two more varieties of cherry, as well as four types of brandy.

The wines from Duvanicic winery won numerous awards and recognitions for quality.

Day 4(Brac island & Vidova gora peak)

The day will start with a ferry ride to the Island of Brac. When we arrive you will have time to explore the charming town of Supetar and its lovely architecture. Van will take us up to Nerezeisca, a small uphill town where a miraculous small pin tree is growing from the chapel roof. Our hike of the day starts with a stunning Blaca desert. An astonishing monastery-hermitage founded by the Glagolitic priests who fled the Turks around 1550. After exploring the monastery and having a visited a museum that gives us insight in local life centuries ago we will start hiking up to Vidova Gora peak. This peak is the highest peak of all Croatian islands and therefore has a spectacular view on all other islands, and even Italy if the weather and visibility is good. The hike will finish with a van drive to the town of Bol where our overnight will be. Evening you can spend to explore this vibrant town with plenty of bars and restaurants. Not to forget, Bol has one of the most know Croatian symbols, a Golden Horn beach. Take a late evening swim on this picturesque beach and have a perfect hiking day

Day 5(Hvar Island)

Private boat transfer in the morning will take us to the island of Hvar. Disembark in the town of Jelsa where you’ll have time to explore this charming Mediterranean town and grab morning coffee in one many bar.  Van transfer takes us with a low used a picturesque road full of vineyards and olive field to the small village of Velo Grablje from where today’s hike starts. Today we mostly descent down the hill and enjoy views. First on our way is Malo Grablje village where we come by an old trail which in medieval time was used as the main connection between two main islands towns, Hvar and  Stari Grad. Malo Grablje is an abandoned village where you can smell the ancient times of dalmatian villages. Still nicely preserved as you can almost feel the life going on on its streets and houses. Descent to Milna village on the coast and have a deserved swim and ice cream. Our path takes us from Milna with a small, rocky trail along the sea to the town of Hvar. This gorgeous bohemian town is surly a top attraction that must be experienced. A mix of cultural significates with its natural beauty leaves no one indifferent. Few hours in Hvar and a transfer to Stari grad town awaits us. Stari grad is another must-see place on our route. Founded in 4th century BC is one of the oldest settlements in Croatia. Its relaxed energy will calm you after this long day full of surprises.
