Mountains, Coast & Islands MTB tour | 6-days

Day 1(Cetina river & Dinara Mountain)

Transfer from Split to Cetina Spring from where our cycling adventure starts. Round cycling in spring area of Cetina river combining paved and carriageway. Later we take the northern side of Peruca Lake till Dabar village and towards G. Bitelic from where we will take paved road till the source of another river of Rumin. Later we descend to Cetina river and take river path till the town of Trilj.

Day 2

From Trilj you’ll have a short transfer to the south side of Kamešnica Mountain from where you will start. From Vostane you will descend to source of Ruda river combining paved and gravel. During the ride most probably, you will get to see a herd of sheep and shepherds watching over them. Later we pass the small river of Grab on our way to Trilj.

Day 3(Cetina River area (Trilj to Split connection))

Today we will explore Cetina area and villages through forest parts and having a great view on the canyon. After early morning start from Trilj in direction of north taking on the gravel road to the village of Roguljici.

Then we take low traffic county road for 10 km till the village of till village “Blato na Cetini”. Afterwards, we are on gravel till Cetina river. We pass small villages of Smolanje, Ostrvica, Gata while uphill cycling on the gravel road. After uphill we are on great gravel downhill on a carriageway till river of Zrnovnica where we can organise a pick-up and transfer to Split or you can take state road and go to Split by your self.

Day 4(Island Brac)

Ferry transport from Split to Supetar. In Supetar you’ll start cycling to Sutivan on a coastal path riding just near the sea on combined paved and gravel road, after which you ascend to Donji Humac situated in the middle of Brac Island. On half of the way, you have a nice viewpoint Nature park Sutivan where is also a restaurant and zoo. The trail is dry and rocky with the open view on Brač channel and mainland mountains Mosor, Omiska Dinara and Biokovo. You will continue cycling to Nerezisca from where you will descent to Milna village on the west side of the island finishing your day on the sea. The first section from Nerezisca to Dracevica is a fast and easy gravel road. Most of the last section from Dracevica to Milna is steep and rocky single-track which is technically demanding but instead is possible to take a paved road.

Day 5(Island Brac)

From Milna we will take asphalt road to do the uphill till the beautiful village of Lozisca and then after to Nerezisca. After Nerezisca we take gravel road for 10km till asphalt road which will take us to the biggest attraction of the island Golden Horn beach and town of Bol. The road till Bol is amazing ascent with magnificent views on vineyards along the way, Island Hvar and Vis, and the town of Bol beneath us.

Day 6( Island Hvar)

Early in the morning, you will have a 30-min. boat transfer from Brac to Hvar in Basina bay. First, we will have a ride across Ager-UNESCO protected plain, founded by ancient Greek when arriving on Hvar in 3century BC. Vrboska or small Venice is next in our way after which we take a gorgeous coastal path till Jelsa. Then we climb up till small inland villages of Svirce, Dol, Pitve where you can enjoy olive tree farms, authentic architecture and nice downhill ride till asphalt road which will take us to oldest town in Croatia – Stari grad
