Tour Summary
Have a multi-adventure tour in Croatia and experience its dazzling coastal towns, stunning coastline and crystal clear sea. Having a sailing boat as our home we will sail between Dalmatian islands Brac, Hvar, Vis and Solta. Once on the islands, we will explore them while sea kayaking, hiking or cycling.
You will get to explore sensational Croatian coast by sea kayak paddling the shore of Brac, Hvar and Vis islands. Visiting beaches, cliffs and caves that are possible to approach only by a sea kayak. Moreover, you will get to cycle across Hvar island and explore stunning coastal towns and charming quiet villages such as Hvar, Stari grad, Pitve, Brusje etc. Vineyards, olive fields and spectacular hill views will enrich our bike ride. Visits to Croatian natural phenomenon Blue cave on Bisevo islands and historic places like Blaca hermitage on Brac will additionally spice up the adventure.

TOUR STYLE
The trip will include all necessary gear for paddles, walks, snorkelling, cycling and sailing. All activities are optional (take a day off at any time). The motorboat will accompany each paddle, so you can opt-out if you’ve had enough. Our base is 10-12 meter sailboat (depending on the group size), a well-appointed vessel with 2 person cabins, toilets, kitchen. Groups size is from 4 – 8 pax. However, in the case of bigger group different boat style and size are available upon request.
The following itinerary should be taken as a guide only. It can be changed due to the unsuitable weather conditions. Our objective is to deliver the best possible experience for you and better options may present themselves as we go. Activities each day will last from 3.5 to 6 hours and include breaks.

Day 1(Split - Milna bay)
Our guides will meet you in Red Adventures office. After the briefing, you will have a short transfer to a place where a sailing boat will be waiting for us. Still to load your luggage and of we go. Our first destination is Brac island and deep Milna bay. There we have an afternoon kayak paddle in the bay where we will also fit our kayaks. It’s important to do this properly so you can enjoy your kayaking in the next days. Deep and protected bay of Milna will be a perfect shelter for a first-day kayak and for you to get in the hang of the kayaks. Later in the afternoon, we will moor in the village for the night. A charming Milna village provides a scenic walk while exploring the village. In the evening the town gets lively so you’ll get a chance to grab a drink or an ice cream with a beautiful sea view.

Day 2(South Brac kayaking & hiking)
Breakfast on board and a boat cruise from Milna to the south side of Brac. Then enjoy a relaxed morning paddle to the southwestern shore of the island and its numerous uninhabited small bays with turquoise water and little pebble beaches. Midday we’ll take a break for lunch and walk to the Blaca desert, where we’ll see a monastery founded by the Glagolitic priests from Poljice when they were fleeing from the Turks around 1550. The monastery was turned into a museum in 1963. Afternoon paddling to Bol, the island’s oldest settlement, you’ll see luscious grapes waiting to be picked. Overnight in Bol and one of the best-known beaches in Europe, Zlatni rat. It changes shape with the winds and tides and juts out into a perfect azure sea. Zlatni rat is a well-known windsurfing and kitesurfing destination. Bol is a charming coastal town with a great seafront promenade and lots of old traditional streets. A perfect place to explore the Dalmatian architecture and enjoy Mediterranean summer vibes.

Day 3(Hvar Island cycling)
Breakfast and short boat ride to Hvar Island. Bike through beautiful countryside to Ager Fields, a UNESCO World Heritage site where there are tranquil small villages like Pitve, Vrisnik and Svirce, surrounded by olive tree farms, lavender fields and vineyards. Then to the town of Stari grad founded 2400 years ago by Greek explorers and the village of Brusje, with its spectacular view on the open sea and surrounding islands. Alternatively, in case you don’t feel like cycling, a sailboat will take you around the island to Hvar town to meet the others.
When reaching Hvar town you will be able to relax and explore one of the most beautiful towns on the coast. Afternoon you can use to walk along the promenade or climb up to the Napoleon fort from where you’ll have amazing views on Pakleni island archipelago, islands stretching just in front of Hvar.

Day 4(Hvar southern shore)
After a short cruise, we start today’s kayaking tour from the secluded, picturesque bay of Milna. Gorgeous views all the way. Amazing cliffs and lonesome beaches will leave you breathless. Brake in a small bay of Dubovica, you can have a coffee in a traditional country house overviewing a gorgeous pebble bay. In the village of Sveta Nedjelja, there is an optional visit and tasting at a unique underwater wine cellar (tasting at extra cost). After lunch, we will have our sails up and cruise to Vis island.

Day 5(Bisevo Island & Blue cave)
The boat takes us to the islands of Bisevo, known for amazing caves, cliffs and sandy beaches. Two highlights are likely to be Medvidja Cave and magical Blue Cave. Blue cave is 6m high cave is one of the most spectacular natural attractions of Croatia. Sunbeams reflect from the white bottom floor, colouring objects in the water silver-blue.
Medvidja cave is named after the Mediterranean monk seal that may be found here. It is more than 100m deep and with kayak we can reach deep inside of the cave.
After lunch, we will cruise to one of the most picturesque spots on the coast, the village of Komiza, the last real fishermen’s village in the Adriatic. Slide into the easy rhythm of what the islanders call “pomalo” and enjoy delicious food and wines with the locals. Overnight stay in magical Komiza town.

Day 6(Vis island)
A big day! Today we paddle probably the most beautiful 15 km of coast. From Komiza Bay, we will take in cliffs, caves and beaches sculptured by the open sea waves over thousands of years. We will visit Srebrna beach and Stiniva cove, where we will break for lunch and optional snorkelling. Sailing to Solta Island in the afternoon and exploring stunning Maslinica village in the evening.

Day 7(Split town)
The final day has arrived. We will start early in the morning with sailing back to Split to be on time for our check out. When reaching Split we will say a final goodbye to each other and separate. Red Adventures will provide a transfer to your accommodation or place needed within the Split area.

The tour runs all year round, but the best weather conditions can be expected from May till October.
Tour is available for private groups and families and the usual group size varies from 4 till 10 pax.
Groups bigger than 10 are possible too, in which cases different type and larger vessels such as Gulet or Motor sailer are used. They are traditional custom made wooden boat, hand-built, equipped with sails but also with the use of motor power. In this scenario, we use motorboat with 8-12 cabins and can fit max. 24 people.
Price is available upon request and it depends on the group size, exact boat type and tour dates.
MEALS
Croatia and Mediterranean offer great food and we always make sure that you try local dishes, delicacies and products having a memorable gastronomic experience.
Breakfast is served on the boat early in the morning. As its the most important meal of the day we make sure it’ filling and energetic. Generally, it is prepared and served by your guide but you are welcome to help. Breakfast includes some of the following: eggs, cheese, ham, cereals, bread spreads, fruits, milk, yoghurt, coffee, tea, etc.
Lunch breaks will be on the beach or the boat while being moored in some lonesome bay. For lunch, our guide will offer you snacks such as sandwiches, salad, pastries, fruits or energy bars.
When anchored in a remote bay, dinner will be prepared by your guides and served on board. Each night we will try to surprise you with some of the local dishes. Wine is carefully picked making sure each island we visit provides its best representative. Nights moored in towns you will have free time to try out some of the charming & cosy “Konobas” and explore lovely coastal towns. Our recommendation will be provided.
Upon your booking, we will send you a simple online questionnaire making sure that your preferences, wishes and needs are met to the maximum. Based on your feedback we will organize the most suitable meal arrangements making sure any of your dietary restrictions or needs are accommodated.
For ecological reasons, we encourage our clients to bring their reusable water bottles that will be filled out whenever needed.
ACCOMMODATION
All nights during the tour you will be accommodated on the sailboat.
Sailboats are fully equipped and have a saloon, kitchen, 3-5 rooms, toilets, wi-fi.
The crew is made of a skipper who will be in charge of boat navigation and your tour leader who will guide you during the activities.
SEA KAYAKS
Due to limited space on the sailboat for this type of tour, we are using only double sit-in kayaks.
Prijon Poseidon is touring double-seater for open waters and coastal tours.
Made to ensure better tracking and a pleasant travelling speed with great stability. It comes with a comfortable seat-system, suitable for longer distances with increased comfort!
All kayaks in Red Adventures fleet are not older more than 3 years. We renew our gear regularly and keep it in good shape.

Carbon paddle (Prijon Stream) upgrade is available at the price of 5€ per day.
BIKES
Cycling is done with high-quality hybrid bikes which are perfect to use on an island low traffic gravel roads. We have a fleet of Musing hybrid bikes which are regularly maintained and double-checked before leaving our garage.
