Poljud Stadium Skywalk is a relatively new activity and it is only of its kind in whole Croatia. This tour offers you the possibility to walk on the roof of the most beautiful stadium in Croatia and experience Split from an unusual perspective.
Poljud stadium represents the pinnacle of socialist architecture in Croatia. While strolling around the rooftop of the emblematic Poljud Stadium, you will learn its importance for modern Croatian architecture. But also about the urban development of contemporary Split, from its socialist to present-day architecture, the interesting history and fun facts about the city.
At the end of Poljud Stadium Skywalk, you will have a chance to experience a 70 meter free – fall rope swing over a soccer pitch – if you dare. Step out of ordinary and make your holiday an exceptional travel experience!
About Poljud Stadium
City Stadium in Poljud is a stadium that has been the home ground of the most popular football club in Dalmatia, Hajduk Split, since 1979. The venue host 1979. Mediterranean Games and Yugoslav president Josip Broz Tito opened it. In the beginning, it had an original capacity of 55 000 seats. Today capacity is reduced to 35 000.
Its trademark is seashell-like with a huge roof structure. And the design offers views of nearby hills and forests from the stands, modeled after ancient Greek theaters.
In November 2015 the stadium was officially recognized as cultural heritage.

Restrictions:
The rooftop tour is suitable for everybody older than 9, but the rope swing is a matter of courage, so it is mostly up to you. Children under 16 years old can participate under parental supervision. Under 18 years old must have parental consent.
There is no upper age limit as long as you are fit and healthy. But there is an upper weight limit of 120 kg, and a lower weight limit of 40 kg which applies only to a rope swing. If you are pregnant, we advise you not to take part in the Skywalk.
There are a lot of stairs to climb to, so unfortunately it is mostly not suitable for guests with a severe walking disability. But if you really, really want to jump the rope swing, please notify us at least 5 days upfront and we will do our best to make it happen.
How safe is Poljud Stadium construction?
Poljud Stadium is very safe. Each year, it undergoes a thorough technical examination by structural engineers.
