Marko Kovač (Tour Guide)

Marko was born in Zagreb in 1986. At the early stage of his life he became passionate about nature and spending time outdoors.
As a logical step, he pursued master’s degree in Physical Geography from the University of Zagreb while spending his free time hiking, biking, kayaking or guiding the tours. In the summer of 2015 Marko decided to merge his passion for nature and profession and moved to Split to become professional tour guide. While exploring nature and guiding the tours he enjoys in practicing his knowledge about landscapes, hydrology and microclimate.
Marko has IRF (International Rafting Federation) and BCU (British Canoe Union) guide certificates. He enjoys in all outdoor activities but loves hiking and sea kayaking the most.
